Job Summary

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee development, and organizational effectiveness. As a key member of the leadership team, you will partner with local management, regional HR directors, and the company president to drive strategic initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in human resources, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a multi-site operations environment. A bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or human resources is required, along with strong internal customer focus, collaborative style, and excellent communication skills.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
  • Employee Relations: Creating and delivering people practices to promote positive working relationships
  • Talent Acquisition: Onboarding new hires, communicating changes to employees' pay and organizational structure, and supporting national recruiting and succession programs
  • Retention: Ensuring competitive salary and benefit programs are offered throughout the region and assisting leadership with employee performance reviews
  • Training and Coaching: Developing and stewarding regional training programs to ensure training standards are being met and fostering mentoring skills
  • People Development: Partnering with managers, regional HR directors, and the company president on people development initiatives and developing strong present and future leadership talent within the organization
  • Organizational Effectiveness: Driving the HR Review process and ensuring consistent processes across all locations
