At Sunwing Vacations Group, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the position of Logistics Coordinator - Aviation Materials Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of materials and tooling to support aircraft recovery and repair plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment
  • Procure materials and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Perform receiving inspections of all incoming materials to ensure compliance with Transport Canada and Sunwing Airlines company policies
  • Arrange for the shipping of company materials worldwide via air, road, sea, and rail
  • Provide logistics support to the Maintenance and Engineering Team, including transportation of materials both airside and landside

Requirements:

  • Diploma in a related field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management)
  • Possession of a valid driver's license (mandatory)
  • Able to pass a pre-employment qualifying exam
  • Availability to work nights, evenings, and days, including weekends and holidays
  • Able to pass security clearance and obtain a Transport Canada security card with a Driver Airside Permit
