Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Technical Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for utilizing process knowledge, technical expertise, and site logistics experience to assist, teach, and coach plant personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and guidance to plant personnel on logistics-related issues, including process troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and logistics optimization.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase site logistics reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that plant personnel have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and quality, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions to improve logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: A Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i.e. Associate's Degree/Technical Diploma) is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial facility, with previous operations or site logistics experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
