About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientific Technical Advisor to join our team at Dow. As a key member of our Site Logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize process knowledge and technical expertise to assist, teach, and coach plant personnel in site logistics operations.
  • Focus on troubleshooting process or equipment issues, improving process performance, and increasing site logistics reliability.
  • Develop and maintain site logistics process training material content and qualification assessments.
  • Participate in available Technical Advising role networks to improve personal effectiveness and leveraging of best practices.
  • Act as a technical/process subject matter resource in the assigned site logistics area.
  • Perform or assist in process-related root cause or failure analysis.
  • Work with continuous improvement and site logistics resources to identify, implement, and sustain improvements relating to area of expertise.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree/Technical Diploma required.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial facility.
  • Previous Operations or Site Logistics experience (Site Logistics Tech, Operator, TA, RPE) is required.
  • Logistics technology and equipment expertise preferred.
