**Scientific Research & Experimental Developer (SR & ED) Technical Advisor**

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Research & Experimental Developer (SR & ED) Technical Advisor to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert consulting services in the area of Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED).

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide SR&ED consulting services to clients in accordance with process and quality standards.
  • Consult with client stakeholders to identify eligible SR&ED projects and participate in the preparation of SR&ED Claims.
  • Interview R&D project managers, researchers, engineers, and developers to identify eligible SR&ED activities.
  • Work with senior SR&ED technical advisors to develop claim strategies compliant with CRA claim submission requirements.
  • Write high-quality SR&ED project descriptions, identifying relevant supporting evidence, or work with interview notes or recordings prepared by senior technical advisors.

**Requirements**

  • 5+ years' experience in a commercial or institutional development environment.
  • 2 years' experience writing SR&ED project descriptions.
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or science.
  • Strong understanding of ethical behavior and business practices.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain successful relationships.
  • Client service-oriented.
  • Solid understanding of client information needs.
  • Self-motivated individual with demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Effective listening skills.
  • Adaptable and able to work within tight deadlines, showing flexibility.
  • Maintain an image of professionalism and integrity.
  • Good understanding of fulfilling client needs and objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Good understanding of research skills, competitive analysis, and analytics.

**Nice to Have Skills**

  • Experience recruiting for Canadian Federal government positions in the Ottawa region.
  • Experience recruiting for GIS and MS Dynamics skills.
  • Bilingual English/French is preferred.
