The Graduate Development Program (GDP) is a meticulously designed two-year program tailored to nurture the growth of exceptional new graduates joining our Engineering team. This structured program provides invaluable hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned leaders, technical experts, and former GDP participants, guiding you every step of the way as you embark on your career journey with us.

We are currently seeking entry-level Chemical Engineers to join our esteemed GDP cohort.

General Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering principles, encompassing chemical, mechanical, controls, industrial, and electrical domains.
  • Analyze technical reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly energy and water consumption data.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests under the supervision of the lab manager, preparing concise technical reports with guidance.
  • Create a SIPOC diagram to visualize the department's operations and key physical locations.
  • Actively participate in and lead continuous improvement projects, driving operational excellence.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment, including starters, VFDs, soft starts, and breakers.
  • Perform operational and cost studies to identify areas for optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Assume the responsibilities of an Area Supervisor, demonstrating leadership and decision-making capabilities.

  • Self-Starter: Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, meet deadlines consistently, and handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Exhibit self-awareness, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Leadership: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and a demonstrated commitment to teamwork.
  • Career Aspirations: Express a genuine interest in pursuing a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, fostering effective collaboration and teamwork.
  • Relevant Experience: Prior internship experience in a related field is highly desirable.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 0-2 years of professional work experience, including internships and co-ops.
  • Proven leadership experience through extracurricular activities, employment, or internship experiences is preferred.
