We are currently seeking highly motivated and talented graduates to join our Chemical Engineering Graduate Development Program (GDP). This two-year structured program provides comprehensive training and development opportunities for aspiring engineers, enabling them to gain practical experience and build a strong foundation for their future careers.

Program Overview

The GDP is designed to equip participants with multi-disciplinary expertise in chemical, mechanical, controls, industrial, and electrical engineering. Throughout the program, you will have access to:

  • Mentorship from experienced engineers and leaders within the company
  • Hands-on experience in various aspects of sugar refining operations
  • Opportunities to participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Technical training and development programs
Responsibilities

As a Chemical Engineering Graduate, you will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Reviewing technical reports related to energy, water consumption, and other operational data
  • Conducting basic laboratory tests under the supervision of lab managers
  • Developing process flow diagrams and SIPOC diagrams for departmental operations
  • Troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems
  • Performing operational and cost studies
  • Assisting in area supervisory roles
Qualifications

To be successful in this program, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
  • 0-2 years of professional work experience (including internships and co-ops)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A demonstrated interest in pursuing a leadership role in a manufacturing environment
