We're looking for a skilled professional to manage our IT contingent workforce management program and optimize expenditure, contributing to the growth of the IT team and Intact Financial Corporation.

About the Role

As a Contingent Workforce Specialist for IT Finance, you will be responsible for managing the IT contingent workforce management program, ensuring smooth partnership experiences with vendor partners, and establishing a governance framework for contingent workforce management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison for IT contingent augmentation vendor partners, ensuring smooth partnership experiences.
  • Establish governance framework for contingent workforce management (CWM), focusing on rate card compliance.
  • Focus on CWM expense optimization and reaching annual expense reduction targets.
  • Ensure Program compliance, covering contract terms, and portal management.
  • Maintain oversight and reporting on key contingent workforce metrics.
  • Establish governance framework for statement of work engagements.
  • Develop expense optimization framework for statement of work engagements.
  • Oversee intake portal management tasks, such as form vendor updates, compliance with SLAs, and compliance with portal usage.
  • Ensure alignment and adherence of Vendor contracts with evolving business needs, contracted commitments, operational objectives, and industry standards.
  • Identify and execute upon actions to optimize contingent workforce expenses.
  • Establish a framework to facilitate a possible transition of offshoring suitable IT work.
  • Closely track expenses and savings related to contingent workforce management.
  • Conduct operational reviews as required to ensure compliance with CWM program framework.
  • Coordinate with senior IT stakeholders on program improvements and evolution of vendor relationships.
  • Influence, educate and train IT community on CWM best practices and processes.
  • Develop training and program communications as appropriate to facilitate program change management.

Requirements

  • Post secondary education in Business, Finance, and Accounting.
  • CPA designation is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in procurement, finance, or IT function.
  • Experience with IT staff augmentation programs is an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Knowledge or experience working with Oracle ERP is an asset.
  • Good communication (verbal & written) and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success as a solid team player, comfortable contributing within a team of peers.
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurship, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to multi-task in a face pace environment against challenging timelines and workload pressures.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
