Workforce Management Administrator

The Workforce Management Administrator plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Scheduling Department at MLSE. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining schedules for approximately 3000 employees, ensuring seamless communication with operations managers and front-line employees, and providing customer service support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create schedules that adhere to collective bargaining agreements and departmental rules.
  • Maintain various communication channels to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Coordinate replacements for absences and process schedule changes from operational requests.
  • Communicate schedule changes to operations managers and hourly employees in a professional and diplomatic manner.
  • Provide customer service support to client group managers and hourly employees on collective bargaining agreement inquiries, technical support for Workforce software, and general scheduling and payroll inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Transcription typing at a minimum of 40wpm.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including formatting, filtering, and data manipulation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and managing a high volume of emails.
  • Proven ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment and understanding of collective bargaining agreements is an asset.
  • Experience with Workforce software is also an asset.
