Serving as a Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Director

We are seeking a seasoned leader to serve as the Director of Facilities and Equipment Maintenance. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, this role will oversee the maintenance teams responsible for equipment and building upkeep at our Valcourt sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of supervisors and maintenance planning team leaders in performing routine and corrective maintenance on equipment and buildings.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal asset utilization and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with various department heads to align maintenance efforts with business objectives.
  • Establish and track performance indicators to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members.
  • Knowledge of plant and building maintenance, as well as relevant software applications.
  • Fluency in both English and French, both verbally and in writing.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience
