Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Director to lead the development and implementation of supply strategies that support our product launch schedule and drive business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to bring value and competitive advantages to the business, reflected in customer satisfaction, project implementation, increased profit margin, quality, innovation, and risk management related to the supplier network.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of contract negotiation, risk assessment, and mitigation, as well as strategic relationships with suppliers and performance management.
  • Leadership of a team to improve its performance and capabilities.
  • Establishment of collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic recommendations regarding the future of the global supply function.
  • Optimization of internal processes and interfaces to support BRP's growth plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in strategic supply and relevant experience in manufacturing industries.
  • Proven skills in negotiation, forming partnerships with suppliers, and decompartmentalized management in a large business.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with ability to liaise with senior managers and present clear, concise, and well-planned presentations.
  • Fluency in French and English, with ability to negotiate with non-French-speaking suppliers worldwide.
