Responsibilities:- Supervise the construction and testing of prototypes to ensure they meet technical specifications and industry standards.
- Assist in design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
- Prepare estimates, schedules, and reports to support project planning and execution.
- Write detailed specifications for electrical and electronic components and systems.
- Inspect, test, and adjust electrical and electronic components to ensure optimal performance.
- Calibrate electrical and electronic equipment and instruments to maintain precision and accuracy.
- Conduct safety training programs for colleagues and contractors.
- Install, commission, and operate electrical and electronic equipment and systems, including performing preventative maintenance tasks.
- Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
- Complete work orders and test and maintenance reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in electrical and electronics technology.
- Proven experience working with electrical and electronic systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronics principles, including circuit analysis and wiring techniques.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
This is a permanent position requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
Compensation:The estimated annual salary for this position is between $50,000 and $65,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
