Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Raglan Industries Inc.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
Job SummaryThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to inspect, maintain, and repair heavy-duty equipment. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet.
Responsibilities- Inspect Mechanical Units: Identify faults and malfunctions in mechanical units, including truck-trailer systems, and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform scheduled maintenance services, adjust, repair or replace parts and components, and test repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and locate faults in equipment, and perform preventive maintenance to prevent future issues.
- Cleaning and Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
- Languages: English or French
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with noisy conditions
- Physical Capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and handling heavy loads
- Personal Suitability: Judgement, reliability, team player, values and ethics, organized, and time management
