Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team at 12717450CANADAINC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport and deliver messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our clients.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Offer professional and courteous service to clients, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Record Trip Information: Accurately record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during delivery.
  • Sort and Load Packages: Sort packages for delivery and load and unload goods as required, ensuring efficient and safe handling of items.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles) and a clean driving record.
  • Provincial/Territorial Transportation Experience: Have experience with provincial/territorial transportation and a strong understanding of transportation regulations.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads, walk, and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent oral communication skills, be organized, accurate, and able to work under pressure.
