Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team at 12717450CANADAINC. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, while ensuring professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport and deliver messages, parcels, and other items to customers, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, while adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Provide Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Record Trip Information: Accurately record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during delivery.
  • Sort and Load Packages: Sort packages for delivery and load/unload goods from vehicles, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles) to operate company vehicles.
  • Transportation Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation or a related field, with a strong understanding of logistics operations and customer service principles.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Working Conditions

As a Courier Delivery Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working under pressure. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
