Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team at 12717450CANADAINC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport and deliver messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our clients.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Offer professional and courteous service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Record Trip Information: Accurately record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during delivery.
  • Sort and Load Packages: Sort packages for delivery and load and unload goods as required.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Provincial/Territorial Transportation Experience: Have experience with provincial/territorial transportation and travel.
  • Criminal Record Check and Driving Record Check: Pass a criminal record check and driving record check (abstract).
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and walking as required.
  • Weight Handling: Be able to lift and handle items up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
