Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team at 12717450CANADAINC. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, while ensuring exceptional customer service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Items: Safely transport and deliver messages, parcels, and other items to customers, while maintaining accurate records of trip information.
  • Operate Vehicles: Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring accurate handling and storage.
  • Sort Packages: Sort packages for delivery, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Follow Directions: Follow directions and read maps to navigate routes and ensure timely delivery.
  • Record Trip Information: Accurately record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Provincial/Territorial Transportation Experience: Have experience with provincial/territorial transportation regulations and guidelines.
  • Criminal Record Check and Driving Record Check: Pass a criminal record check and driving record check (abstract).
  • Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate handling and processing of goods.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and handling pressure.
  • Physically Demanding: Perform physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong client focus, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, working effectively with colleagues and customers.
