Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and assess the performance of our food services team to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
  • Staff Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate and provide feedback to staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
  • Operational Planning: Develop and implement operational plans to ensure efficient use of resources and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Recruitment and Scheduling: Recruit, train, and schedule staff to meet the needs of our food services operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure they are equipped to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Service Offerings and Operational Procedures: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Cash Handling and Reporting: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control costs associated with food services operations.
  • Liquor Legislation and Regulations: Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Direction and Evaluation: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources and maximize customer satisfaction.
About You
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, and Point of Sale system.
  • Transportation: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and handle heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player, and ability to multitask.
