Restaurant Manager Job Description

Tomo Restaurant is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Inventory Management: Cost products and services, and organize and maintain inventory to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best deals.
  • Marketing and Customer Service: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, and provide exceptional customer service to build a loyal customer base.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and instruct individuals to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Customer Complaints: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Operations Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Public transportation is available.
