Job Title: Office Coordinator
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to join our team at Smartway Freight Systems Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they align with company policies and procedures.
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services.
- Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence.
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures.
Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Permanent position with 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
