Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they align with company policies and procedures
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures

Work Environment

The Office Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
