Bird Construction Group, a leading Canadian construction company with over 100 years of experience, is seeking a skilled Project Warranty & Service Coordinator to join their team.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients to resolve warranty and service matters upon project completion for project sites on behalf of the Manitoba Buildings Group. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Project team with deficiencies in a successful Turnover of our projects to the client
  • Touring project sites in advance of completion to gain a full understanding of the project and warranty items
  • Scheduling, completing, and managing warranty walkthroughs with clients
  • Completing basic minor repairs as needed, such as painting, door hardware, drywall repairs, etc.
  • Leading the coordination, planning, and execution of warranty & service activities through email and phone calls, site meetings, etc.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to complete repairs and service work
  • Fostering and maintaining positive relations and communication with clients
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills while interacting with others
  • Assisting in project billings and working with the accounting team to ensure timely payment of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Abiding by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company, including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Leading project warranty introduction at or near substantial completion with project stakeholders
  • Conducting reviews and investigations of work completed and warranty requests
  • Maintaining records of warranty activities
  • Completing price estimates as required for additional work orders outside of warranty scope
  • Providing periodic coverage of active project sites as required
  • Providing leadership and guidance to warranty & service staff, including scheduling warranty calls and assigning work tasks

If you have relevant trade education and experience in fields such as carpentry, drywall, mechanical, or electrical, and possess strong communication and organizational skills, we encourage you to apply.
