Lock Search Group is a National Executive Recruitment firm with extensive expertise in various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our team.
Job OverviewThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong sales abilities, including persuasion, relationship-building, and effective key account management. As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and supporting product launches within the assigned territory.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in sales and experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the specialty/rare disease pharmaceutical sector. A strong understanding of scientific discussions, including clinical data and disease mechanisms, is essential for this role.
Responsibilities- Meet or exceed sales targets for assigned products, including objectives related to new product launches.
- Proactively manage existing accounts while identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the designated territory.
- Conduct regular visits with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide product information, address disease states, and ensure appropriate use of assigned products.
- Develop and implement a territory-specific business plan with strategies to achieve annual sales objectives.
- Serve as a key liaison between healthcare providers, facilitating communication and ensuring timely, coordinated patient care.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the specialty/rare disease pharmaceutical sector.
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is highly desirable.
- Experience with product launches or start-up environments is a plus.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to sell, persuade, and influence key decision-makers.
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, a comprehensive benefits package will be offered to successful candidates.
