Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Requisition Supplies: Order and manage food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to deliver high-quality service.
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and training to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help our staff grow and succeed in their roles.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation to minimize waste and ensure we meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our operations and make data-driven decisions.
  • Food Order Summaries: Prepare detailed summaries of food orders for our chef to ensure seamless execution.
  • Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly and delivery of trays to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Food Trolley Delivery: Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure our customers receive their orders promptly.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Tim Horton, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You must be able to work effectively in a team and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
