Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our Profit Centre operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales and profitability goals
  • Lead and manage a team of sales and operations professionals to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance
  • Analyze financial reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to drive business growth and profitability
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies

Requirements

  • College and/or University degree in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a business development or management role
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and market trends
  • Knowledge of industry trends and developments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the wholesale distribution industry
  • Knowledge of plumbing and building products
  • Experience with sales and operations software
