Business Development Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our Profit Centre operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales and profitability goals
- Lead and manage a team of sales and operations professionals to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance
- Analyze financial reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to drive business growth and profitability
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements
- College and/or University degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a business development or management role
- Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze financial reports and market trends
- Knowledge of industry trends and developments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the wholesale distribution industry
- Knowledge of plumbing and building products
- Experience with sales and operations software
