Business Development Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our Profit Centre operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability, and managing a team of sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve sales and profitability goals
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets
- Analyze financial reports and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and partners to drive business growth
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Manage inventory, assets, and expenses to optimize profitability
Requirements
- College and/or University degree
- Minimum 3 years of wholesale distribution experience
- Minimum 2 years in a management or leadership role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
- Driven to succeed with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to make sound business judgments
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Experience using Trend and Eclipse
