Business Development Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our Profit Centre and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase sales, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives
- Lead and manage a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth
- Analyze financial reports and market trends to inform business decisions and optimize operations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive business growth and improve profitability
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Regional Manager or President
Requirements
- College and/or University degree
- Minimum 3 years of wholesale distribution experience
- Minimum 2 years in a management or leadership role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
- Driven to succeed with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to make sound business judgments
- Create and nurture a positive team environment
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Experience using Trend and Eclipse
