We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at North Country. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, salads, and main courses.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning equipment and utensils.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
- Free Parking: Free parking available for employees.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen.
- Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
