About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at North Country. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared and served efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment, and performing physically demanding tasks.
