About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Elder Tree Montessori. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring that all food is of the highest quality and presented in an appealing manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and organized at all times.
  • Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks
  • Work Conditions: Overtime required, work under pressure, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
