Job Description

">

This full-time position requires a skilled Strategic Fundraising Lead to drive revenue growth, cultivate donor relationships, and elevate our organization's presence within the communities of Grand Erie, Halton, and Hamilton.

">

You will be responsible for developing comprehensive fundraising strategies, managing budgets, and reporting progress to our Executive Director and Board members.

">

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Develop annual and multi-year fundraising plans and manage their implementation in collaboration with our team.">
  • Ensure that objectives, timelines, and critical paths for all fundraising programs are being met and tracked.">
  • Cultivate and steward major donors, ensuring a pipeline of mid-level and major donors is consistently built and maintained.">
  • Work closely with the Marketing Communications team to craft philanthropy-specific communications and marketing pieces.">
  • Maintain relationships with philanthropy professionals, staying current with trends and best practices in the sector.">
  • Lead the development of financial reports and scorecards to support fundraising optimization and growth.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.">
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a fundraising role, with a proven track record of planning and executing successful fundraising programs.">
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated aptitude for strategic planning, inspiring teams, and fostering creative approaches.">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate professionally and engagingly in a donor-centered manner.">
  • Superior interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.">
  • Strong technological proficiency, including Office 365 and donor database systems.">

  • A salary commensurate with experience: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum.">
  • A hybrid working environment with flexibility and autonomy over your schedule.">

  • Four (4) weeks paid vacation plus two (2) float days to celebrate and observe holidays and special occasions.">
