Physiotherapist - Chronic Pain Specialist

About the Opportunity
Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in a Primary Health Care setting. The successful candidate will work with individuals and groups to develop and implement exercise programs, utilizing behavior change methods and case management approaches. This role requires excellent leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with healthcare providers and community groups to meet the health and wellness needs of clients.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, and membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists. The ideal candidate will have one year of related experience working with individuals in chronic pain, and experience with individual and group education/facilitation. A valid driver's license and daily access to a reliable vehicle are also required.
Hours and Compensation
This is a permanent full-time position, with 75 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $33.96 - $42.89. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
