About the Role

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team.

As a Physiotherapist, you will assess, diagnose and treat patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations or disabilities.

You will provide service in outpatient, inpatient and community settings, educating and communicating with other health disciplines, the general public, family members and caregivers.

The successful candidate will also provide supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of assistants.

About You
  • We are looking for a Physiotherapist with a Bachelor's degree or entry level master program from an accredited university.
  • A membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (Provincial licensing body) is required.
  • Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook, are necessary.
  • An Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) is also required.
  • The ability to work in a diverse profession, requiring additional courses/education/training in many specialized areas or practice, is essential.
  • Competencies in other languages are an asset, particularly French.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $33.97-$42.89 per hour.

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.

What We Offer
  • Full-time Long Assignment, 100% FTE; 75 hours biweekly.
  • Approximately 15 months.
