Sales leadership is a cornerstone of SGS's success in the North American mining sector. As a Key Account Director, Mining NAM, you will drive sales and business development within the region, providing strategic direction to the sales team and establishing qualitative and quantitative targets aligned with company objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that meets or exceeds annual revenue targets, focusing on cross-selling services and growing existing accounts.
  • Lead weekly pipeline review meetings to ensure accountability and drive conversion of opportunities into wins.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales managers and team members, fostering a high-performing team with low employee turnover.
  • Collaborate with marketing to implement targeted marketing activities supporting sales objectives and generating quality leads.
  • Establish constructive customer relationships, working closely with operations and key account management teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Identify and capitalize on short- and long-term opportunities through industry analysis and market segmentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in the mining industry, including all life cycle stages, with ITS industry experience required.
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in sales teams.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. This figure reflects the importance of this role in driving sales growth and profitability within the North American mining sector.
