About the Role

Holt Renfrew is seeking a highly skilled Privacy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our privacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with all applicable Canadian federal and privacy legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of Holt Renfrew's privacy and CASL program.
  • Manage and respond to access to personal information requests in compliance with federal and provincial privacy laws.
  • Coordinate and support business areas with the implementation of key action items to ensure compliance with federal and provincial privacy legislation.
  • Manage and support internal audit function with any open actions items on risk register impacting privacy and CASL compliance.
  • Assign and track privacy and CASL related complaints, issues, breaches, projects, consultations.
  • Support the Chief Privacy Officer and team in developing and leading Holt Renfrew's privacy and CASL program.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, including follow-ups, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts appropriate to audience.
  • Demonstrate ability to be discreet when handling sensitive personal information and topics/situations.
  • Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player and an individual contributor as required.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Confident and effective communicator.
  • Independent and self-starter.
  • Ability to problem solve and think outside the box.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • French language (written and spoken) would be considered an asset.
