The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Growth to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth by recruiting and inspiring a team of Marketing Consultants. The successful candidate will stay at the forefront of the rapidly changing marketing industry, building new sales opportunities, and reporting to the Vice President, Business Development for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Marketing Consultants to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Regularly communicate with Marketing Consultants to motivate and assist with strategy and providing insights.
- Visit customers with Marketing Consultants as required to build strong relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Confidence in generating new contacts, crafting personalized emails, and communicating with potential clients to drive sales growth.
- Experience with customer relations management and business development tactics is desired, along with a motivated, energetic, and team-oriented approach with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, with the ability to build strong strategic relationships and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance attention to detail with a big-picture perspective, manage priorities, and follow through on multiple projects.
- Utilize a combination of web research, prospecting, and email tactics with a hunter mentality to seek new business opportunities.
- Perform other strategic duties as assigned by the Vice President, Business Development.
