Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Limited. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules

Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy kitchen and dining areas.

Requisition Food and Supplies

Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to meet the needs of our menu and customers.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Train Staff

Provide comprehensive training to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Estimate Ingredients and Supplies

Accurately estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.

Ensure Quality Control

Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and service to meet customer expectations.

Maintain Records

Accurately record and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.

Prepare Reports

Compile and submit regular reports to management on kitchen operations, sales, and other key performance indicators.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel as required.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.

Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
