Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Forest Inn & Conference Centre. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy dining services operation.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food products.
- Train and develop our staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and quality control standards.
- Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our purchasing and inventory management decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Dental and health care plans to support your overall well-being.
- Support for newcomers and refugees through foreign credential recognition and diversity training.
- Support for Indigenous people through mentorship, coaching, and cultural competency training.
We offer a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
