Job Title: Food Service Supervisor - Team Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor - Team Lead to join our team at Alberta Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of competence and confidence
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize profitability
- Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
Work Environment:
This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and walk frequently.
Requirements:

Experience:
1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
