Job Title: Food Service Supervisor - Team Lead
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Limited. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, promoting a safe and healthy work environment
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
- Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and minimizing overtime
Work Environment: Our fast-paced environment requires individuals who can work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk, making this role physically demanding.
