Capital Markets Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Sia Partners in Toronto. This role is focused on driving business growth and development within the capital markets sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to create, update, and refine user stories to drive business value.
  • Gather and clarify business requirements from stakeholders through effective communication and analysis.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to manage applications and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in Capital Markets Regulatory Reporting domain to provide expert guidance.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Evaluate trade reporting issues and escalate them to Senior Management and Compliance as needed.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and business partners through effective communication.
  • Support the interpretation of policy and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst delivering business requirements for G20 regulations.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in regulatory reporting and the Capital Markets domain.
  • In-depth understanding of G20 regulations and global trade repository specifications.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and excellent analytical abilities.
  • Strong documentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
