We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef - Food Operations Manager to join our team at Jaibadrivishal Food Services O/A Made In India. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $50,000 per annum.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards. You will be in charge of managing kitchen staff and supervising their activities to ensure efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • To prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods;
  • To inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene;
  • To train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
  • To order supplies and equipment as required;
  • To supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are working efficiently;
  • To maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
  • To clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment;
  • To recruit and hire staff when necessary;
  • To organize buffets and banquets to meet client requirements;
  • To manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth service delivery;
Requirements
  • Candidates must have secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Candidates must have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Candidates must possess attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Candidates must be client-focused and able to work in a team;
