Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at Qualicare Home Care in Kamloops. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office and ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity;
  • Review and evaluate existing procedures to identify areas for improvement;
  • Delegate work to office support staff to maximize their skills and abilities;
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met;
  • Carry out administrative activities related to the release of records and processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation;
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services;
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls;
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence;
  • Perform data entry and oversee payroll administration;
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures;
Requirements
  • Candidates must possess efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a high level of organization;
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is considered an asset;
  • A permanent position with a 30-hour workweek;
  • English language proficiency required;
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $45,000 - $55,000 based on industry standards and location. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
