This Casual Nursing Unit Clerk position offers a wonderful working environment and the opportunity to work with a solid and experienced team in Kamloops B.C.

  • Prioritize and process physicians' orders
  • Act as a communication link for the Unit
  • Schedule and coordinate patient/resident appointments
  • Maintain patient/resident charts and data
  • Perform various clerical duties
  • Maintain timekeeping records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Grade 12
  • A current Typing Test of 40 wpm or greater
  • A Nursing Unit Clerk Certificate
  • Ability to keyboard 40 wpm
  • Effective communication skills
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties
