Job Title: Quality Plant Engineering Leader

About the Role:

The Quality Plant Engineering Leader will be responsible for leading the quality plant engineering team in charge of his perimeter. This includes guaranteeing customer satisfaction, including warranty results in field and plant efficiency, by leading supplier quality, plant quality convergence, and managing product/process evolutions in serial life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the quality plant engineering team to deliver product changes and launches on time.
  • Manage supplier quality and plant quality convergence to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track team performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of years of related experience.
  • Previous experience in Engineering Department, Vehicle/mechanic Plant or Project team.
  • Ability to lead an Engineering team to deliver product changes and launches on time.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal from High Level Meetings down to the Shop Floor.
  • Ability to work off shift hours as necessary.
  • Self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to thrive in a high intensity environment while working on multiple projects.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Masters Degree. Bachelor of Science listed above is the minimum requirement.
  • Green belt.
  • World Class Manufacturing Experience.

Education:

  • Bachelor's of Science in the fields of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
