About the Role
BASF Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Plant Engineer to join our team in Windsor, ON. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage capital projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Oversee site utilities and energy management, optimizing performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for site optimization, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and codes.
- Proficient in engineering software and tools, with SAP experience an asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
