About the Role

BASF Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Plant Engineer to join our team in Windsor, ON. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage capital projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Oversee site utilities and energy management, optimizing performance and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, maintaining a strong safety culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for site optimization, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and codes.
  • Proficient in engineering software and tools, with SAP experience an asset.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
