Quality Engineering Plant Manager

Position Overview:
The Quality Engineering Plant Manager is a key leadership role reporting directly to the ENG/FQM, with a collaborative relationship to the Quality Plant Engineering Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the quality engineering team within the designated area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by managing warranty performance and optimizing plant operational efficiency.
- Lead initiatives for supplier quality and drive convergence of plant quality standards.
- Oversee product and process enhancements throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree (BAC+3) or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. Other engineering disciplines may be considered with relevant experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience in engineering roles.
- Prior experience in an Engineering Department, manufacturing facility, or project team is essential.
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams to successfully implement product modifications and launches within set timelines.
- Experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective measures.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively from executive meetings to shop floor discussions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
- Self-driven with a strong sense of direction.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a relevant field.
- Certification as a Green Belt.
- Experience in World Class Manufacturing practices.
