Job Description:

The Quality Plant Engineering Leader is a key member of the TEC Group Inc. team, responsible for leading the quality plant engineering team in charge of their perimeter. This role requires a strong leader who can guarantee customer satisfaction, including warranty results in the field and plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the quality plant engineering team to deliver product changes and launches on time.
  • Manage supplier quality, plant quality convergence, and product/process evolutions in serial life.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project execution.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in an Engineering Department, Vehicle/mechanic Plant, or Project team.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead an engineering team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, from high-level meetings to the shop floor.
  • Ability to work off-shift hours as necessary.
  • Self-motivated and directed with the ability to thrive in a high-intensity environment.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in a related field.
  • Green belt certification.
  • Experience with World Class Manufacturing.
