Job Summary:

The Validation Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of automotive systems by performing verification and validation activities. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies, creating and managing test procedures, and analyzing results to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure compliance with federally regulated guidelines for software performance, safety requirements, manufacturability, and vehicle functionality.
  • Create and manage test procedures, including maintaining traceability of test artifacts to requirements.
  • Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of testing activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of testing activities, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Provide leadership in the areas of formulation and implementation of testing strategies, including traceability from requirements to results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive test/validation work.
  • Experience with tools such as Vector CANalyzer and CANoe, CDA, and other relevant testing tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.
